ANCIENT EGYPT SARCOPHAGUS

ANCIENT EGYPT SARCOPHAGUS

In P3, we have been reading the book «The Missing Mummy» which tells the story of a group of children who goes to a museum on Mummy Monday to be part of a trip back to Ancient Egypt and learn about that culture.
Since our students were so eager to learn more about this magnificent culture, we decided to delve into that world. We learnt about their clothes, their daily lives, the way in which their lives were affected by their surroundings and their beliefs.
We learnt that ancient Egyptians believed in life after death and that the sarcophagus was designed to portray the personality of its owner.
This is why P3 kids got creative and designed a sarcophagus using all those things they believe cannot be missing!
You are so talented, Kiddos!!!
