THE UHS HISTORY MUSEUM

THE UHS HISTORY MUSEUM

“If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going.” — Maya Angelou .

P7 students discover where they’re coming from as they curate ‘The Museum (of events) that Changed History’.
In this student-lead project, students selected events that changed the course of history forever. They learned about the impact these events had and how they were received at the time, as well as how they continue to shape our world all around us to this day.
The students worked in groups and displayed very creative and interesting artefacts that represented the event in History along with an oral presentation where they explained the importance of their chosen event.
The topics chosen where varied and extremely relevant: “The Berlin Wall”, “The Internet”, “Feminism”, “Apartheid”, “The Vaccine”, “9-11”, etc. were just a few of the topics chosen by our students.
Great job P7!
